  2. Whenever you have to meet a decision, don’t just ask people if they want to, give them a choice that lies within the frame of your decision. You’ll be surprised how this little hack will help you to avoid arguing with other people.
  3. If someone is having a joke at your expense, act as if you didn’t hear the joke correctly. Ask them to repeat it for you, or ask them to explain what is so funny about it. Having to explain a joke is even worse than having to repeat it.
  4. If your aim is to get close to someone, try addressing them by their first names. You’ll find that the person responds to you instinctively. Take care as to not overuse this trick as it may backfire at times.
  5. When you need to confront someone without offending them with the aim of getting the job done, try using passive voice. You could say, “The meeting was not fixed” instead of “You did not fix the meeting.”
  6. If you want people to take notice of what you say, tell them that your father taught you those principles. You’ll find that you suddenly have keen listeners.
  7. When in public and find that you feel someone’s gaze upon you, simply yawn and turn back. The person that has been staring at you is most likely to yawn as well and you can spot the person easily.
  8. If you want to make people like you, create situations where physical touch is natural. Make your physical touch is subtle like a brief touch on her arm or back, but not too much. See more at my blog and here you can learn ‘How to tell if someone likes you’.

  10. During negotiations, once you are done speaking your mind, you must stay quiet and observe the proceedings. There is no meaning in reiterating your points.
